Air conditioner- calculating the needed cooling capacity
The formula to calculate the cooling capacity of air conditioning for the domestic use:
m3 x 45 W : 1000 = [ … kW]
The formula to calculate the cooling capacity of air conditioning for the commercial use (offices, hotels, conference rooms):
m3 x 45 W : 1000 = [ … kW]
To the result should be added:
Man sitting 0.1 kW
Man in motion 0.15 kW
Man working physically 0.2 kW
PC 0.1 kW
A small refrigerator 0.3 kW
A large refrigerator - the older, the more heat 0.3 - 0.6 kW
Standard window from the south (1m2) 0.2 kW
Standard window from the west 0.15 kW
Electrical appliances with motors - 10-15% of electrical capacity
A lighting (per each bulb with a power of 100 W) 0.01 - 0.02 kW
